Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2, 2026

1. Who we are

Cobra (cobrainvoices.com) is operated by REDSTAKES, the trade name of Agustín Jorge Rojas, based in Argentina ("we", "us"). Contact: agustinr2k@gmail.com.

By using Cobra or buying Cobra Pro you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

Cobra is a web tool for creating invoices and saving them as PDF. The free version includes every invoice feature and adds a "Made with Cobra" footer to the PDF. Cobra Pro removes that footer and adds a logo, saved clients, and invoice history.

Your invoices, clients and settings are stored only in your web browser (local storage) on your device. We don't receive or keep copies of them.

3. Not a fiscal invoice

Cobra creates commercial invoices. They are not electronic fiscal invoices issued through a tax authority (such as ARCA/AFIP in Argentina, SAT in Mexico or SII in Chile). You are responsible for meeting the tax and invoicing obligations that apply to you, and for the accuracy of the information you put on your invoices.

4. Cobra Pro license

  • Cobra Pro is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
  • After payment you receive a license key. It is personal to the buyer, who may use it on all of their own devices. You may not resell, publish or share the key with other people.
  • "Lifetime" means for as long as we operate Cobra. If we ever shut Cobra down, we'll announce it on the website at least 60 days in advance.
  • We may revoke a key that was refunded, charged back, obtained fraudulently, or shared publicly.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the website before you buy. The price in Argentine pesos is updated automatically from the US dollar exchange rate, so it may change over time; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party providers under their own terms: Mercado Pago for payments in Argentine pesos, and Lemon Squeezy for card and PayPal payments in US dollars. For orders paid through Lemon Squeezy, our online reseller Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record: it sells you the license, charges any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt. We never see or store your card details.

6. Refunds and cancellation

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Consumers in Argentina may also cancel within 10 days through the Botón de arrepentimiento. See the Refund policy for details.

7. Your data and backups

Because your invoices live in your browser, clearing your browser data, using private browsing, or switching browsers or devices can erase or hide them. Download a PDF of every invoice you need to keep. We can't recover data we never had.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use Cobra to create fraudulent or misleading documents, to impersonate others, or for anything illegal. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, bypass the license check, or access our systems without permission.

9. Warranty and liability

Cobra is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Check every invoice before you send it. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Cobra is limited to the amount you paid us for Cobra Pro. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived, including Argentine Law 24.240.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and material changes won't apply to purchases made before them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Consumers may bring claims before the courts of their own place of residence, as Argentine law allows.

The Spanish version of these terms prevails over the English one in case of discrepancy.
